About MeI was born in the all re-known state of New York on the last day in February of 1987, in a suburban town named Nyack, NY, approximately one hour from the city (across the Hudson, in case you were wondering). Memories from New York during my childhood are spread out, but much has happened to me, and the best friends who I grew up with since then. My parents are originally from South Korea, and immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1970’s in search for a bright and promising future for their children. I have two older brothers, both older (which makes me the baby), by nine and eleven years.

Brief Testimony |
I grew up in an SDA home and church, but never really gave my heart to Christ until I was a junior in high school. It was then when I decided that no matter what I would do with my life, it would be in service to the Lord. I’ve graduated from several schools, Shenandoah Valley Academy (High school), La Sierra University (College), and Andrews University (Post-college). I received my bachelors in Religious Studies (w/ a minor in Psychology) in 2009, and a Masters in Divinity in May 2016. Also, I am currently working on a teaching credential from Pacific Union College. Before attending seminary at Andrews, I had worked as a Youth Pastor / Chaplain Assistant in the San Francisco / South Bay Area for several years, and throughout that time, I have gained a desire to understand and learn with youth to help further them on their spiritual journey.
